consumer advocates who actively promote the rights of individuals with
communication disabilities through the Nancy Bailey Award of Appreciation. These may be parents or spouses of
communicatively handicapped individuals or organized consumer groups.

award recognizes an undergraduate or graduate student in the field of
Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology who has exhibited outstanding
leadership qualities, made innovative contributions to the field of
Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology and maintains membership and
