DESCRIPTION: The UK Healthcare Speech-Language Pathology service is expanding to meet growing patient needs in our Level I Trauma Center and our busy outpatient center. We are seeking candidates to fill four new positions as we make plans to move into our new state-of-the-art medical center facility.  Preferably, candidates will have experience in an acute care setting and/or experience in outpatient care, with opportunities for specialization in the following areas: dysphagia, head and neck cancer, neurogenic communication disorders, pediatric speech and language, tracheostomy/ventilator dependent population, and traumatic brain injury.  The clinicians in these positions will work closely with the diverse faculty within the Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Health Sciences, and will have opportunities for wonderful teaching experiences with graduate level students.
